# Catch Up

I finished truck driving school. I am in a holding pattern on a
promising job that will not require that credential. I do not want to
jinx that...

My marriage looks like 2020, it is pretty much over. Sitting in an
empty five bedroom house I built for us... yeah I don't want to write
about that either.

On another topic, I had been running gentoo on my thinkpad x201 for
the past year. Last night I made sure I had everything I wanted to
keep backed up and I installed Manjaro BSPWM. I have been using BSPWM
for the last year as my window manager and I enjoy it. It was nice to
see that Manjaro had an edition devoted to this WM. It is well done
and even though I did modify some things, my install is mostly stock.

I modified the limebar panel to have a system tray, removed the wifi
widget, and main menu (why do I need rofi with a mouse click when
I also have dmenu on a key press?), installed thinkfan to keep my
laptop cool, added my wallpaper rotator script snippet to ~/.fehbg,
git cloned my repos, and *tada* I am back at my digital home.

That's pretty much all I feel like writing at the moment.
