# RPoD Update

RPoD is going to be upgraded soon. I have purchased a Raspberry Pi
4 with a 256GB M.2 SSD and a cooling case with a circuitboard for
said SSD. I have often worried about running a server from an SD
card. I likely shouldn't have worried as I have been doing so since
2017. However, I have already had two SD cards fail in that time.
Now that I am pretty much never home, I wanted a little more
robust setup.

Next time I have a block of days off, I'll take RPoD down for a bit.
I'll post about it afterward.
