## Tablet Setup Update

I have installed a gui in termux accessible via VNC. In this
environment I am using DWM as my window manager and XFCE-terminal as
my terminal emulator (it was the available terminal that looked and
worked the best on this tablet). I have emacs-x11 installed from the
termux repos and am using doom-emacs as I have been a vim user for 25
years. I have moved over to using org for everything. Storing my files
in dropbox and using dropsync to synchronize them enables the same
setup on my phone and in other places.

I have added a bluetooth speaker from amazon to this setup as the Onn
tablet is not loud enough when watching movies and it gets quiet in a
scene. I am listening to music at the moment with mpd/mpc and this
speaker. It is nice indeed.

I bought a hardcopy in paperback of *The Compact Org Mode Guide
Release 9.2.4* to expand my usage of org mode. I could never remember
things like export to PDF or particular features with tables, etc.
This has been a good resource in addition to worg and the help. I
noticed that small-net local kensanata shows up in this book. Pretty
damned cool.

## Vacation

I am once again on vacation so I have been puttering around the house
since my wife is not currently on vacation. It has been a nice time.
I had not seen my father in 16 years so last weekend I took my
youngest daughter down to southern New Mexico (El Paso area) to see
him. It was a great time, I will not be waiting such a long time to
visit again. I had a huge stockpile of points saved so plane tickets,
hotel suite, and rental car was all free. This was a nice touch,
especially since I had to buy a new dishwasher when I came home...
