## Less dreary than Seattle

That is one thig I can safely say about the Portland / Vancouver metroplex. It feels smaller than eastern cities. Of course that is easy. The east coast has hundreds of miles where one city blends into another. Outside just seemed more vibrant than a few hours north of here... also when I am in Seattle there is the always issue of no public bathrooms. I once had to piss in an apartment complex parking lot after trying to find a bathroom in 10 (!!) different businesses near the Seatac airport.

## Different route home

I am flying into SLC today, and even with the extra drive, saving about 7 hours of time. I am pretty stoked about getting home.
