Hi Grim and Mike...and all
I saw an ad for Apple in a magazine and thought I would give your apple
logo a whirl through my notepad...  It's true that circles are a pain in
ascii. But the Apple logo isn't an exact circle.  This is what I came up
with:

Then with the bite taken out:

The advertisement showed the apple divided into horizontal stripes of rainbow colors...

That's the best I can do on those stripes...
