There are two types of graphics files used with RIPterm. RIP command images,
and icons. The icon format is basically identical to the Borland (BGI)
bitmap standard with the palette removed.

RipScript images and menus are basically vector graphics, sort of like WMF
or NAPLPS files, with the drawback that they are in a fixed 640x350x16 screen.

Windows BMP bitmaps will not convert well to RipScript, but can be converted
to RIP icons with very little work.

I've seen at least one crippleware program to convert Windows Metafile to
RipScript, it might be better to wait for RIP 2.0 before starting anything
new.
