Does anyone have any information about the TeleGrafix RIP format? For those who don't know, RIP is kinda like ANSI Graphics, except it can do 16color pictures of the like found on AOL and Prodigy. This format is used (usually by BBSs) to send menus & pictures over the modem quickly. RIPs are kinda like Windows Metafiles in the way that they store commands rather than raw data. I am interested in writing a program (in Pascal, C, or VB) that will convert Windows BMP bitmaps or WMFs to the RIP format, but I need the RIP guide, or whatever there is in terms of RIP format specs. Any information would be appreciated. You might want to email it to me rather than followup as this msg is crossposted to several groups.
