Have any of you HP-UX/ASCII gurus' got a COLUMN to ROW program.

I have a program that produces this kind of output.

                    |ASCII
                    |Applications
Scripts_____________|Database
                    |X11
                    |VUE
                    |General

But ideally I want to display it as........
