I should probably have a canned file for this. The following would apply to animations and color pics. Note, to view color pics, you need a color screen and ANSI color capable software. You must save the article to a file. The way you do this will depend on your news reading software. For example, in trn, while the article is on screen, you type: s ~/filename That will save the article a file in your home folder. Then you must quit your newsreader and uudecode the file. It's as straight foward as typing: uudecode filename Then to view, just type: cat filename When you cat the file, you use the filename of the file that was created when you uudecoded the file you saved from the newsreader. You don't cat the uuencoded file itself. >Thank you. I'll bill you later. :-) >'Til we read again See ya between the lines. -- ////// ////// ////// ////// ////// ////// ////// ////// // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // ////// // ////// ////// ///// // ////// // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // // ////// ////// // // // // ////// ////// // // ////// ////////// ))))))^^))))))^^))^^))^^))^^))^^))))))^^))))))^^))^^))^^))))))^^))))))))))^^^ ~" (( (( (( (( (( (("~ ((~"^ ((~^ (( (( ^"((^ (( (( (( (( )))))) )) ^"~^ )))))) )))))) ))))) ^)) )))))) )) ~))^")) )) )) (( "~~ (( (( ^((^~(( (( (( ^~" (( ^"(( (( (( (( (("~((^ (( )))))) )))))) )))))) )))))) )))))) )))))) ))))))~ )))))) )) )) )) ''' ~^^^^ '"""^^'''''^ '''''''"" '''''^^"" '' '^^ ~^^~ ~^ ' ~~ ' ^ ^^^^^^^^
