   You can read articles that you've already read, as long as they are 
still on the news spool at your site.  If you are on a Unix based system, 
using rn or trn (preferably trn), do the following:

   o  Type a copital U (a lower case u will unsubscribe you from that group)

   o  Wait for the next prompt, and type a lower case a

   o  Wait for the next prompt, and type a lower case q


   I did it in trn to rec.arts.ascii, and it looked like this:

======  91 unread articles in rec.arts.ascii -- read now? [+ynq] U
Getting overview file..
Set unread: +select or all? [+an] a
  
End of newsgroup rec.arts.ascii.  (132 articles still unread)

   Maybe some other folks can tell how to read already read news for 
other readers and systems.  I believe this is important, but that many 
people do not know how to do it.  And they ask for reposts because they 
skipped over an article, and don't know they can read it again.
