   I think it was on a wall originally  ___Q~`___   There should probably
be front legs, but we're talking ascii here.  Where are your ~ and ` ?
In my font, the Q is the back and tail of the cat, the ~ (centered) is
its upper body turning to the right, and the ` (slanted left to right)
is the head.  
   Unfortunately, I don't have the name of the author.
