While I've never seen a Dvorak >keyboard, what advantages do they have to the ASCII artist? I use a Dvorak layout for actual typing because it is faster and requires less effort to type than QWERTY. OWERTY was scienfically designed to make typing difficult in the age of manual typewriters when typist were too fast for them and jammed them a lot. With QWERTY, you type about 20% to 30% on the home row, with Dvorak, you type about 70% to 80%. All the vowels are under my left hand, and the a and o are next to each other, and sometimes I transpose them. As to Dvorak's effect on ASCII art, I don't see much in the way I use it. I hold a mouse in one hand and have to use the other to move all over the keyboard to press characters, and to cue up cut, copy, paste, undo, etc. So it doesn't make a difference to me. >About the domain names, .com and .org seem to be your only choices.... if >you ever plan to sell something on your domain name for profit, go with >.com, but if you aren't, go with .org. Should take about a month to get it, and a couple more weeks to set up the automation (providing my guru is available at that time). -- /'\\ . || /'\\ /:\ ,._-_ /'\\ /'\\ ,._-_ /'\\ \\ \\ \\ """\\ || /;:.\ || || / || || || || || || || || || //;:. \ || ||/ || || || || || || || ;"-__// \\,/ ///;:.. \ \\, \\,/ \\,/ \\, \\,/ \\//\// __--"////;:... \"--__ '-__ "--_____--" __-' '""--_________--""'
