Well, Bob, how long is long? For the title of this original message, my newsreader clipped the '(question)' to '(questi'. I personally think that having the IDs, period, is good idea, but I think having them at the beginning is more natural than the end. Since most of us (or perhaps I should say all of us who read Western languages), psychologically, as well as, logically, expect to find classifiers or anything else on which we base a decision to be located at the beginning, that is, on the left. I might also add that I think having them in all caps is preferable to mixed case for the reason I find them easier to scan that way, that is, they seem to stand out more from the rest of the text.
