I guess you could just turn the sissors around to face the other way:

 - - - - - - - - - - - >8------ begin -----------------------------

 - - - - - - - - - - - >8------ end -----------------------------

But then the scissors look a little wrong. *sigh* guess its because Im 
right handed  :)
