For example, if you want to use a random .sig in rec.arts.ascii: newsgroup=rec.arts.ascii sigfile=~/.bigsig ... will do that. But, if you would like a universal change, there's a line in your $HOME/.tin/tinrc file ... # Signature path (random sigs)/file to be used when posting/replying to messages default_sigfile=~/.sigdir ... they're overall pretty cool files, and are neat things to dig into. Remember that the tinrc file changes ALL of the newsgroups, while the attributes file changes only one.
