Hi,
  Someone was kind enough to post this to my email address. It is the
ftp site of the gif 2 ascii conversion program, or one of them at least.
Don't get too excited though: the program works fine, but this is rather
like an art in and of itself ... it requires some sort of eye to judge
what sort of image would make a good candidate for converting to ascii ...
Anyway ... you need to practice using this program, or so it seems.
