ALIEN AI

Like everyone I enjoy human stories, real or imaginary, and have 
some facination with the intricacies of how other people think. But 
true to my philosophy of loving and hating everything at the same 
time, I'm also outright bored with the same old patterns of human 
thought and behaviour. You turn on the TV and there's a human on 
it, you read something on Gopher and a human wrote it, where's the 
variety I ask you? Sure it means I can relate to the content 
(albeit often not all that willingly), and things like foreign 
films provide a bit more variety, but wouldn't it be nice to have 
some completely different option? Something you truely won't 
understand, but still follows its own alien logic?

This is what I wish AI would become. Unfortunately everyone's 
excited about these chatbots that regurgitate human content in new, 
albeit frequently misleading, ways. This is dead boring. Why should 
a computer intelligence be trapped within the confines of human 
thinking? With things like ChatGPT it's obviously often a result of 
shortcuts they've taken around creating actual intelligence, but 
what I'd like AI to aspire to is quite different.

I'd like to read a story written by an AI. But not a ChatGPT 
Artificial Intelligence, a real intelligence, an Alien 
Intelligence. The story wouldn't really make sense, except to other 
AIs of the same design/evolution. A look into a real alien mind. 
AI, now, makes too much sense.
