While CB Radio is DIFFERENT from ham radio (a license isn't required), many
people still use it. In one of the ham radio bulletins (that I am working to
get posted), it lists the differences between the two.

Many ham radio operators are also CB operators, or were CB operators at one
time...including over the road truck drivers...where the CB Radio got its
start.

However, various violations (such as running excess power, using illegal power
amplifiers, etc.) can get one in deep trouble with the FCC.
