Hey there! KD3net is located in Pawtucket, RI. I started the board because I
never used a BBS back in the day and really didn't understand what they were or
how they worked. I had computers through my childhood, but never a modem until
about 1995, and even then I had no idea what I could do with it. If only I had
known what kind of cool stuff was out there. 

Anywho! I have learned quite a bit since early 2014. I first installed Mystic,
got it up and running locally, but for some reason could not access anything
from off the local machine. So I kept looking at other software out there and
thought Synchronet looked really easy to install for a first timer. 

I never thought I would be running the board this long, but I really enjoy it,
even if I don't get a lot of traffic.
