The thing is that the "global elite" and, more so, Democrat mega-donors
are the ones that actually got some of the extreme right-wing Republicans
elected.  They backed them in the primaries thinking they'd be too extreme
to win the general elections and their Democrat opponents would have cake
walks.

It backfired on them.  Jen Psaki called them out on it and I would expect
her to know.  Hopefully they learned their lessons but I somehow doubt it.
