he picked it because it's in the headlines.  news is entertainment now.
my state of wisconsin allows marrying at 16 with consent of guardian.
MANY states allow marrying at the age of 16 with consent.

So what these legislators who said no really want is to keep out of people's business.

We have bigger fish to fry.  btw, look at congress' minutes. those people can't decide on SHIT.  they go to lunch and break more than they discuss and vote on bills.
