i have a friend who quit the cigarette part as a side effect of going on
an anti-depressant, but pretty much immediately went to vaping instead.. he
still goes outside and does the whole ceremony.

i actually somewhat miss it when people could smoke indoors. i remember one
weekend everyone hanging out in the bar having a blast and the next weekend
the law changed and it became this routine of people heading back and forth
to smoke while i sat inside waiting. i don't miss hanging my jacket up on the deck to air it out though..
