Thank you for sharing this info! I'm not looking to get into precision shooting. I actually don't do a lot of paper these days. My youngest son has access to scrap steel - flat and angle pieces - that we hang in the back yard and ring like gongs. :-) We shoot the .22's at them, but also our pistols and PCC's and AR's. :-) We set one up att 145 yards and that's fun to 'ring.' :-) Anyway - thanks again! Good read!!! Oh - one more thing - never owned a 10/22, so I can't comment, but I still have my first gun. My dad bought me a Browning SA-22 when I was 7 years old - back in 74. Belgium made and still a great shooter!
