Press any key to continue or any other key to quit LaRue Stealth 18" barrel with a 1-7 twist. it will stabize up to an 80 grain pill no problem. I also have a 20" Wilson bull barrel (1-7 twist) that does the job if I do my part. I have access to property where I can shoot out to 700 yards in the right spot, but realisitically I will never see a shot over 300. I have a Savage 110FP with a factory barrel and trigger that would place 5 sho ts of 167 gr .308 Hornady spire points under 3/4" at 100 yards. That is from bags while shooting prone, so it's more or less what the gun can do, and not t he shooter. --- þ Synchronet þ The Cave BBS - Since 1992 - cavebbs.homeip.net .
