I do love the round, but > don't think it's good enough for that critter. Actually the 40 grain hollow point at close to 2000 fps is considered to be quite well suited for coyote control. There are even some .22 LR loads that are suggested for taking them, but I wouldn't go THAT light. Actually, I'd rather go with .17 WSM for coyote, but that's a few extra dollars to spend that I don't quite have at the moment.
