For awhile FN was maing an A2 with the older military contract roll mark on the receiver. PSA bought up the H&R brand name when Remingtondissolved it's assets, and they are making a replica of th H&R produced M16a1 that was made under contract around 1969-1970. Colt couldn't keep up ,so H&R and GM Hydramatic were brought in to build extra rifles. The H&R's had some cosmetic quirks such as how the forge flashing was cleaned up that made them unique among collectors. --- þ Synchronet þ The Cave BBS - Since 1992 - cavebbs.homeip.net .
