I'm not excited about MSE entirely, but it's better than nothing. It was a fine performer on XP until it was finally depricated and ceased to function as expected. But a combination of SpybotS&D, Malwarebyes and SpywareBlaster seems to be good enough. I'll entertain a scan once in a while, and nothing has emerged to be a concern. As long as I don't capitulate to phishing emails, and as long as I stick with trusted websites, there is no reason for me to be afraid to use XP or Win7. I would imagine that the phishing emails I get hope to catch someone who is vulnerable to an unpatched exploit. l> The fact is, that unless you are enrolled in ESU, all Win 7 l> machines are vulnerable. But for myself, I think that I am OK with the Win7 and XP system just fine. --- OpenXP 5.0.49 * Origin: Ogg's Dovenet Point (723:320/1.9) þ Synchronet þ CAPCITY2 * capcity2.synchro.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/Rlogin/HTTP .
