What type were you working with?  T8? T12?
..and I guess you are using Type A LEDs?

Did you remove the old ballast entirely? If so, I suppose your LEDs are  
the Type B?

I just had a couple of ballasts blow out on me for my fluorescents. There  
are two ballasts per 4-bulb 8-foot fixture.  For now, there is still  
enough light with just 2 of the remaing bulbs in the fixture.  But the  
naked fixture (no covers) looks like a work-in-progress with the other 2  
bulbs removed.

Do you find any noticeable radio interference near the LEDs?
