The client runs on Windows and Linnux and the server runs on Linux only. It's fast, includes deduplication so those big files that are the same aren't backed up multiple times. You can configure how many backups you want to keep (like 12 monthly, 4 weeks, 7 daily). It can even backup to itself so you can have local copies of files in case you screw up editing one or delete one accidentally, you can quickly get it back without remembering you need to make a copy first. It's open source and free but donations are accepted by the author. I usually donate when I screw up back and it saves my ass...which has been a couple of times. https://burp.grke.org/ I use it for a nightly sbbs backup.
