Nothing too special at this point, we do have a pitcher named Perez that looks promising. Ma> Also, I know surprisingly little about the Sox, for how good Ma> they are. I recognize a few names off their roster, but that's about it. They're mediocre (again) this year. Being a Red Sox fan is generally painful, with a few moments of maximum pleasure in the last couple of decades. I'm still a fan though, no matter what. Looks like the Yankees are running away with things this year in the AL East. Ma> It's not strictly baseball-related, but are you a snowbird, or Ma> navy? Retired Navy. Did my last tour here, and stayed. Been here 20 years now and love the place. We even have a pro (A-level) hockey team here, which I'm a season ticket holder for. ;-) I think I saw that you were from the Seattle area. Did a 6-year tour there on a ship, and loved it. Went to many a Mariners game there, both in the KingDome and the new place. Was there when they imploded the KingDome and that was pretty interesting. The Mariners were actually good for a while when I was there. :-) ....
