QST, QST, QST all Arkansas radio amateurs!!!.

The 2019 Arkansas QSO Party will be this Saturday from 9am - 9pm local
time (1400 UTC Saturday - 0200 UTC, Sunday).  We invite as many of you
to join us in the fun and participate in this year's event!

There are 4 categories that you can choose from to operate in:

Fixed
Mobile
Portable
Rover

We hope as many of you can participate as possible, and choose the
category that you think you would have the most fun with.  This is the
one time each year that our great state has the opportunity to take
center stage in the ham radio world, and what better ambassadors to have
on the air doing just that….than you!

Each year the ARQP has grown in # of logs submitted, # of stations
participating, # of states, Canadian provinces, and DX stations
participating.  The event is only 12 hours – you can operate the
entire time or a portion of it, whichever is your pleasure.  You can
operate at your leisure and enjoy making contacts with stations
everywhere outside our state! they will be looking for you and hoping
to work your county!

Awards are given for the Top 3 finishers in each division for each
county.  Join us and work toward earning a nice Arkansas QSO Party
certificate for your shack wall, and have a lot of fun all day.  You
will also improve your operating skills while you’re having fun.  A
win-win.

I'll be, as usual, running mobile this year and hope to work a lot of
you along the way, especially toward the end of the day when I'll be
migrating to 75/80 meters.  Hope to hear you!
