This message area is for NTS and Traffic Handling.

The primary mission of amateur radio is handling traffic, and this is
done in several ways, including:

1) Formal Written Traffic with National Traffic System Nets
2) Traffic during specific nets.

Information covered will include the 4 traffic precedences, how to
handle formal written traffic in preparation to be passed on a net,
plus how to handle such traffic on a net.

Other traffic includes things like upcoming classes and license exams
that both hams and non-hams may be interested in...traders nets where
ham radio operators can list ham radio related items that they want to
buy, sell, or trade....weather related traffic (such as with a Skywarn
Net), and more.

Note that I am working on preparing batchfiles for these message areas,
and it may take some time to get these posts going.

Also, since I consider messages over 30 days old to be out of date on
my BBS, these messages are deleted after that point, and reposted once
a month, with new information, when required.
