Hydrometeorology
An interdisciplinary science involving the study and analysis of the
interrelationships between the atmospheric and land phases of water as
it moves through the hydrologic cycle.

Hyetograph
A graphical representation of rainfall intensity with respect to time.

Hygrometer
An instrument which measures the humidity of the air.

Hygroscopic
Absorbing or attracting moisture from the air.

Hypothermia
A rapid, progressive mental and physical collapse that accompanies the
lowering of body temperature.

HZ
1) Haze- An aggregation in the atmosphere of very fine, widely dispersed,
solid or liquid particles, or both, giving the air an opalescent
appearance that subdues colors.
