* There is now a linkbrother module, which uses JIT C compiling and
  reminds you of links that were posted before.

## Contributions :: drone flying

* We had extensive drone flying and footage taken:

	* gophers://bitreich.org/9/memecache/brcon2023-goodbye.MP4

* All participants learned legally how to fly some A1, A3 and A2 drone.
	* We did sports flying and people had fun on a nice sunny hill
	  doing all kind of tricks.

* 20h did his first part of getting the A2 license.

## Contributions :: geology

* We had a nice time in the forest

* All participants learned about the movement of rocks, about formations,
  the geological history of this region.

## Contributions :: geomyidae

* We (hopefully) fixed a nasty bug with TLS on OpenBSD.
	* This will allow, once tested, to release geomyidae 0.96.

## Contributions :: gopher pearls / gopher lawn

* gopher pearls and gopher lawn were connected

* many new entries into the gopher lawn
	* also gopher pearls

* gopher pearls now has a simpler access method
	* gophers://bitreich.org/0/gopher2007/archive/not-empty-mime-files.txt
	* search the gopher pearls for mime types

* we have a new prototype for gopher lawn link checking

## Contributions :: memes

* there was much brainstorming about the new memecache distributed system

* first work was done on the meme tools and how to easier use those
  scripts all over distributed personalized meme handling

## Contributions :: randomness

* first small contributions for the frontend were done
	* gophers://bitreich.org/1/tyche

## Contributions :: sfeed / atom

* people got many hints how to write it on their own

* there is now an access handling script for german medical guidline
  central database

* We wrote a gitlab cve handling script for annna.
	* see atom hackathon


## Contributions :: the gopher times

* many changes

* new layout

* building was optimized for incremental build
	* tgtimes building now scales properly to 128 cores

* better text handling

* filters

* auto-content generation

* a new opus will come as soon as the articles and their content are up
  to date

## Summary

* Hackathons are an efficient way to boost development at Bitreich.

* It gets people into knowing our projects and internals.

* It animates people to be creative.

* It gives people new ideas.

* We have to repeat them. 
	* More often? -> Will it get boring?
