## Why is there no video stream?

Video  is  a  waste of bandwidth. Visitors can now easily decide if they
only want to listen or watch the screen.

## Why is catpoint used instead of some other presentation software?

Catpoint  forces presenters to cut down their information to what really
matters. Effects in presentations are a  waste  of  neuronal  resources.
With this reduction presentations can be easily reproduced and formatted
to something which UNIX tools can use. See the bitreichcon 2017 for  the
ease you get.

PDF or video are a waste of resources. What you get over to the listener
or viewer is text, which is hidden in graphics, which is hidden in  mate
boilerplate.

Presenters  can  use other tools too, which run in a terminal and can be
muxed.  Such presenters have to consider how to reproduce their  presen‐
tation  on the conference page. Catpoint and pointtools provide a frame‐
work for fast presentation creation and processing.

## Does this system scale?

The bitreich conference system was thought out to be the anti‐conference
system of modern times. There are no parallel  tracks  or  uncoordinated
discussions.  Everything needs to be easily repeatable. Coordinated dis‐
cussions lead to coordinated thoughts. Coordinated facts lead  to  reuse
of what has already been thought.

Commercial  conferences  are  for  selling, which means to stop you from
thinking.  Reconsider this next time  you  »visit«  such  a  conference.
First ask for the food quality.
