Departure
----------------------

It's finally time! After a long period of overhaul it´t finally
time to "set sail" again. I work at sea, as previously mentioned, 
and it has been a long time since I last felt the hull moving
beneath my feet. Overhauling and fixing up the ol' ship is import-
ant but not so exciting. Walking the earth like a common land-
lubber has long since lost its charm..

The next two weeks I'll be away. Away from the family, which is the
downside of it all. But as anyone who has been at sea can tell you;
you have another family with you. It's a special kind of work, you
eat together, work together and brush your teeth together. That's 
not like working in an office or in a workshop.

I'm a technician and all around handy man, as all sailors are, so 
I do most of my work during the day. No pesky watches in the pitch
black of night. 

So the next time I feel like writing It'll probably be from 
the seas!
