So, for very (odd) reasons I got obsessed with the gruvbox color scheme, though it wasn't the first time it actually happened, I even used it on my site for quite a while until I changed the CSS. 
I'm currently using it again for the following things:

* Color scheme for 'st'
* GTK+ theme
* Vim color scheme

It's mostly because I'm nostalgic of retro-looking things, and in my opinion, anything modern sucks. 
Also any kind of light themes hurt my eyes, even gruvbox-light, that's why I use the dark one, because of that exact reason.
