# SDF also becoming Circumlunar? -- Updated // 18-10-01 sdf.org seems to have more and more issues. After the (still unexplained) sudden change from gophernicus to bucktooth for gopher server, there is now git missing from the toolchain. Somebody said it might be due to the NetBSD upgrade going on, let's hope this is the case and soon corrected! At this moment, Zaibatsu feels more stable than SDF, so I wonder which one is more of a Circumlunar Space! ^-^ Unfortunately, my workflow is heavily git-centric these days, therefore SDF without git feels severely crippled, and phlogging over there no longer feels nice. And so my time on C.S Zaibatsu will increase, at least until the SDF issues are sorted out. (There is also sdf-eu.org, where git still works, but I did not use it a lot so far. And perhaps it works on the MetaArray of SDF, but although I can use it, I stayed on the cluster. Until now at least...) *Update 18-10-01* Part of SDF seems to have changed back to gophernicus, although an older version, and so some cgi-script based selectors work again. However, git still is not fully functional, especially not for accessing from the outside, and so I'm still not able to use my normal workflow for phlogging. Bummer. I understand SDF is also meant as testbed for NetBSD development, but serving so many people and such a big amount of gopherspace, I'd expect it to be slightly more cautious about (not) breaking live things. .:.
