Is there a seasonality to proportion of four leaf clovers in a
population (or patch, I guess)?  I seem to have noticed that I
find a lot more early in the year than in summer, despite there
being a lot of clover in my neighborhood the whole time.

Just yesterday, within a 20-minute span, I scored 6 four-leaf
clovers.  I wasn't even seriously looking for them; just hanging
out by the side of the playground while my kid was playing.

I remember last year too, I found a bunch early in the year.  But
then later in the year I struggled to find many, even when I *was*
trying to find them (for my kids, of course!). :)

I should keep a log. But probably won't.  But anyway, I think I'm
pretty much stocked up on good luck for the next month or so.
