The Music of Warren Zevon I only discovered his music in any real form a few months ago. Can't believe it was only "Werewolves of London" until then. His lyrics are crazy but all in all some of the best I've heard. No one writes about the things that he writes about. My favories so far are probably "Desperados Under the Eaves" and "Excitable Boy". Also enjoying "Tenderness on the Block", "The French Inhaler", and "Lawyers, Guns, and Money". I read an article recently about his life - sounds like he definitely fit the tortured genius stereotype. In any case - if you don't know his music I highly recommend it.
