We bought a house! We had been trying to do so since April,
and after two fell out of escrow we closed on number three
today. We get the keys tomorrow morning :-D

It needs some work, but will hopefully be a good home for
us for a good while. It costs half of what we have been
paying in rent (even when you include taxes and insurance),
so that is cool.

The new home is about 1.5-2 hours away from where we live
now and is up in the mountains. We have been living in
city/suburban sprawl for so long and are looking forward
to trees and trails and clear night skies.
