No wonder he is losing weight with all that he does!!!! Well
done John for keeping active and fit. Remind me again how old he
is? Robert loves his food too much, but he really must lose
weight, I might send him over to you so he can help John

Does Robert think he needs to lose weight? I have found through
the years whenever I've wanted to lose weight I HAD TO WANT IT
MYSELF or I couldn't do it. Do you say anything to him about
his weight Darien and if so, how does he take it?

John's diabetes is not Insulin Dependant .... he just takes a
pill or whatever !!!!!!!!! He is 76 now Linda and he eats
normally .. including chocolate and biscuits BUT HE has not been
drinking alcohol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The odd beer now and
again especially when Matt was here but normally now he does not
indulge :))))))))))))))))) Yes, send Robert over as I Am sure
John could use a hand with the logs :) He is getting a few
orders nowadays too !!!

My friend Mary takes a pill too and she seems to eat whatever
she wants. It's so good that John drinks so little these days,
that's a miracle I'd say.
You mention Matt here...............what do you hear from him
recently or have you?

Oh yes, Robert wants to lose weight, but his love affair with
food will always win, it's hard for him. No I don't mention his
weight anymore, how can I when I am overweight? That's the the
pot calling the kettle black!!!!!!!!!
Well done ((((((((((John)))))))))) he is forming his own little

Well I think that was we get older ..... why worry about what we
eat really... just eat sensibly ????????????????? I don't think
we can stomach too much food when we age anyway ! Well I cannot
eat too much else I feel .... uncomfortable for ages afterwards
!
Matt is still waiting to hear if he has the job driving trucks
and in the meantime he is working for his mate. :)

I would like to lose about 10 kilos (about 20 lbs) but I am not
going to stress about it.

The only reason to be concerned about what you eat is if you
have a health issue that warrants it or if you don't want to get
too heavy, though it seems like most women definitely gain
weight after menopause. If you eat sensibly then most likely
you won't gain too much weight but for many people eating
sensibly isn't easy. There is so much obesity here in this
country, so much more than when I was young. We have so many
snacks, etc.. so it makes it hard.

Loads of overweight females here too Linda ..in fact most of
them are overweight some worse that others ... mainly Islanders
and Maori !!
