Will you be planning on a iOS 6.0.1 custom fw? Would be sweet if
there was especially for the iPod touch 4 devices as it's now
taking it's toll and aging and newer apps aimed for the newer
and more powerful idevices running laggy on the iPod touch 4 :/,
it's not gonna survive for long :/

when ios 6 is dead ipod 4 will be dropped so i will do my best
to optimize it, i know what you mean my ipod 4 is taking a punch
too :/ 6.1 on the way lol hope it will not be worse

I suggest everyone who own an iTouch 4G start backing all apps
compatible with it so in the future we can do a store for it! If
you want speed on iPod Touch 4G, try deleting LaunchDaemons,
removing languages, iPad images, Retina images and so on...

I deleted the retina images on my ipod 4g(some of them) and now
stuff looks funny :( and some icons are missing... So I
wouldn't recommend trying to delete the retina images (I did it
by accident, but stopped before it got too far)

haha we cant remove retina image on a retina devices, we can
remove,launchdaemons move some files around.. i will include a
script that will allow user to delete everythings he dont want
for the ios 5.1.1, for the ios 6 i dont know it will be harder
since its really new and nothing is adapted, but anyway ios 6
devices do it well and can wait for now :p

Ohh, yea makes sense, because iPod Touch 4G works mostly with
Retina images since its a Retina device, removing LaunchDaemons,
languages & iPad images should be enough. You can also overclock
(I never had problems with overclocking just with Virtual
Memory).

only device with ios 1.x to 2.1 can be real overclocked.. for
now we must stick with my custom powermanagements :p

I got my geekbench score to 394 by simple scripts :) trying to
get it higher ;)

I can provide any ios 6.0-6.1 apps son if someone has any idea
for porting apps to older version I can help.
And Iīm sorry to say that 6.1 is just a small update, donīt
expect any big improvement or new things
