Has excellent compression and started easily with fresh fuel. It even has a bit of the original paint left on the bar. The only thing missing is the outer part of the muffler - this would be easy to engineer if the baffle didn't sit out proud of the rim! Is the H on the chain for Homelite or Husky perhaps? I have only had Stihl's before this. If it is Homelite, I wouldn't be surprised if it came with the saw when new! #Post#: 10653-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: 660magnum Date: July 29, 2012, 10:11 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I had one of those for 25 years. #Post#: 10654-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: pete Date: July 30, 2012, 6:46 am --------------------------------------------------------- From what I understand the 150 with the rubber grip is the 150e not as common Only reason I know this is years ago I posted a pic of mine on cscf and was congratulated on having the model with the rubber grip #Post#: 10655-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: 660magnum Date: July 30, 2012, 6:55 am --------------------------------------------------------- Mine did not have the rubber grip. It had a 16" bar and 3/8' chain, decent power, never any trouble. But that thing would make your hands sting from here to tomorrow. #Post#: 12348-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: Little Al Date: October 17, 2012, 7:27 am --------------------------------------------------------- There is a 150 muffler cap for sale on Ebay.com item 2600996517445 #Post#: 42041-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: Chainsawrepair Date: June 30, 2014, 3:07 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Just had a homie 150 dropped off. Be prepared for questions as I know squat about these. #Post#: 42054-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: Chainsawrepair Date: June 30, 2014, 7:32 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Up and running. Full 3/8 chain on these. :o Only thing the clutch spring must be weak? Cant get the chain to stop spinning with carb L and I adjusting, even all the way down to stall out. Neat little sticker. :P Oh what is suppose to be holding the bottom of handle to crankcase or anything there? I see by IPL there is a bracket and 2 bolts missing possibility. #Post#: 42055-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: Chainsawrepair Date: June 30, 2014, 7:36 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Found a Homelite 150 IPL (HTM) http://www.barrettsmallengine.com/partslist/homelite150ut10432.pdf<br /> right one or not I dont know yet by UT code. specs (HTM) http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/ed1d619968136da688256af40002b8f7/cbbd16c2ebb6d49a88256c2600151435?OpenDocument #Post#: 42056-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: man of stihl Date: June 30, 2014, 7:54 pm --------------------------------------------------------- How's it pull the 3/8? #Post#: 42057-------------------------------------------------- Re: Homelite 150 Automatic By: Chainsawrepair Date: June 30, 2014, 8:01 pm ---------------------------------------------------------
How's it pull the 3/8?
Didnt test cut yet. I was looking and guessing 40something cc. So probably like the echo 452's I got in with 3/8. I was surprised they had full 3/8 back when too. Looking at pic, chain looks like full skip. ***************************************************** (DIR) Next Page
