Timing is a somewhat universal entity for chainsaws
Some of the limiting factors are the use of the chainsaw as
there is a trade off between RPM and Torque.
A chainsaw used all day in the woods has more of a heat build up
concern than one that cuts three cookies at a get together and
       is then put away.
Other considerations are the piston skirt width and length as
well as the design of the transfers as to how large your ports
       can be.
To read a lot about porting and to be able to apply this
knowledge to your 111 is the way to go.
