They look like they bolt up like a Stihl on studs with nuts that hold the carb .This thing has long screws and I doubt I have enough room to slip the carb over the left hand lower stud if I go that route . There's a lot of things the designers could have done to make this thing more user friendly but they didn't . #Post#: 63734-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: Chainsawrepair Date: October 22, 2015, 7:59 pm --------------------------------------------------------- [quote author=Al Smith link=topic=1732.msg63733#msg63733 date=1445561623] I wish I'd have known about the last one .I'll have about 12-14 bucks in the P70 filter .With either one I'm going to have to do some modifications . Oh well. #Post#: 64538-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: dannyupsolate Date: November 6, 2015, 2:13 pm --------------------------------------------------------- ;D had to put it new body old body melted so bad new oil pump would not fit in ;D #Post#: 64540-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: 3000 FPS Date: November 6, 2015, 2:56 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I got the ole Poulan 405 out the other day and no start. Order a carb kit and put it in and back to running like a champ. I did some noodling with it and that thing just makes me smile with the torque it has. Plus it clears those long noodles like no body's business. #Post#: 64541-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: dannyupsolate Date: November 6, 2015, 3:08 pm --------------------------------------------------------- be glad when I know enough to work on the quality saws. trying to make all my dumb mistakes on the cheap saws. ***************************************************** (DIR) Previous Page (DIR) Next Page
