       Zip reed valves

I finally got around to working on my Zip. Everything was going
good until I removed the reed box. All the reeds are bent.
Does anybody know where I could find a good used box? Or maybe
drill out the rivets and replace the reeds.

I think it's "custom saw parts" or something like that on flea
bay .Bryce out in Washington state . Probabley has a warehouse
full of parts to fit just about anything.Scott in Vermont
,"Chainsawr " could have a set of reeds too . For that matter
I've made reeds using steel shim stock .

Thanks Al. I'll call Bryce and see what He's got. Chainsawr
had one but it's already gone. I might try that steel shim
stock if I can't come up with anything.
