Stihl 026 Super Magnum

Stihl 026 Super Magnum saving info.
Have seen these posted before on other sites but never any real
info. Well a guy on my other CR group has one his dad bought
new.
We all just figured it was a dealer sticker over the metal tag
or embossed on metal tag like this.

Well it sort of is just that.
Owner My father bought it new in the mid to late 80's from a
shop in Spokane WA.
So I just spoke with a fellow at country homes equip. He said it
was a package they used to sell. amounts to a teflon coating of
some of the internals.

Adding 2 more from thread yesterday on CRG FB
= dealer was located in Spokane Washington my hometown and the
name of it was country homes power equipment the 026 super
magnum was the same saw as a regular 026 but the difference was
Teflon coated internals country homes is still in business and
ray is the guy you want to talk to about any info on em he's
been there a long time.

Several threads on a couple different forums from 2010 and
2014. Nobody ever came up with any info on the model. One person
said it his Grandfather got it in the late 1980's.

Found one that had been for sale by owner 7 years ago in Wash
near Spokane. = Stihl 026 super magnum chainsaw
This is a pro saw and Extremely rare!!! This saw was made in the
1980s and is out of production
Very low miles, ran very little doing light yard work just to
keep it from sitting and in perfect working condition... Very
well maintained! 1 owner, close as you can get to mint
condition! Original stickers and markings in tact.
There is a 20" bar on it
Comes with 2 new extra chains, case, and a couple files and bar
tools thrown in! This is a killer find! Will not find another
one out there in this condition.
Straight cash or will consider trade on a vehicle. This is a
serious saw, serious offers only.
Nice looking one too with case.

What was told beside telfon coating. The “super magnum” emblem
was used by country homes and garden in Spokane to designate
they ported it.
