I am a newbie having just joined. This site looks like an excellent resource. Congrats to the administrator on a job well done. I have just inherited an old Partner 5000 plus and it is missing the oil cap. I have spent hours searching but have not been able to find one. I understand that the caps from a Husky 35 or a Partner 1074 will fit. I also need new rubber anti-vibration mounts for the handle. Does anyone know where I might source these parts? Any ideas of what other models/makes might have interchangeable parts? My last resort is to machine a new one. I am a retired machinist and if I could at least get the measurements, I could make a replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know this is a good saw, but without an oil cap it is pretty much useless. Cheers, Tom #Post#: 76747-------------------------------------------------- Re: Partner 5000 Plus parts needed By: Chainsawrepair Date: April 1, 2017, 9:03 am --------------------------------------------------------- Order a oil cap for a poulan pro 325. Caps came in yellow and black. I had sets of black and yellow at one time. Dont think I have any left. The AV from the poulan 325 too www.ordertree.com for new also check Scott a memeber here but has used parts at www.chainsawr.com check on partner 5000 there first as I traded him a bunch of my parts. Also check jonsered 490 590 and JoBu 490 590 when searching #Post#: 76782-------------------------------------------------- Re: Partner 5000 Plus parts needed By: KLRTom Date: April 2, 2017, 5:36 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Thanks to Cut4Fun for the advice. I will search as you advised. Also for anyone who is looking for a fuel cap for a Partner 5000 Plus I can confirm that a Jonsered 451 cap fits perfectly. *****************************************************
