       Walbro WG info

       Joey =
       A quick eBay search shows a wg-5, 7, 8, 9 and I believe a 10.
Wg-5 appears to be off a Echo saw. It has the higher side screw
       but different throttle/choke levers.
Wg-7 looks like a Husqvarna 3120/ Partner cutoff saw carb. No
High side screw but does have the pilot hole.
Wg8 and 9 look to be the same. However some have the blue piece
between metering diagram cover, which vents to atmosphere on the
face not with the cover. Neither have the Hs screw but do have
       the pilot hole in body.
There is a Wg model for the Ms880(wg12) that has the Stihl
throttle lever not the cable set up like Husqvarna.
Wg2’s are no longer made, they do not have a choke but have two
fuel inlets and used a primmer bulb.
Wg3, I’ve never seen but I believe came with high side screw and
       choke.
Wg4- I’ve never heard of one. Same with the Wg6.
A Wg 8 looks to be popular with the Rc planes.

Joey is a good dude. WG3 and 5 are echo carbs. WG4 are
oly/mac990carbs. WG12 are stihl carbs. The rest are for
Husqvarna. 2,3,4,and5 had the larger inlet needle like many
carbs of that era. WG2 were sought after by hotsaw builders
because of the only one to have a larger needle and having the
largest throttle bore of all of the by 1/16 for the 3120, which
most don't know or was robbed for parts by improperly enlarging
the inlet. I can't count the amount of carbs I have been sent to
fix that issue. It's my trade, not the guys trying, I've seen
about it all. Carb modding at one time was no secret. IMO Marcel
shared it all with his own paperwork, but the owners of this
paperwork act like it's not shareable. I never copied what
little I seen from Marcel, I just did my best to improve it and
not copy. With my trade I was able to. Turning a 8 to a 2 was
easy for me cause I even went further. Guys like mVp, Benny, big
Dave, etc paved the way. Young man up north has turned it all up
to a new level! Forums act like putting in a hscrew is voodoo!
I've repaired all those too. My own nozzles, my owns screws, my
own seats, and blocking off patterns to go back to
basics.Trenching the wet side of a carb for just a hscrew
addition is like Bridgeport porting, more gimmicks]!] I have
photos of wg3 and two wgs2s in my hand today but cannot upload.
       Sorry for the rant. Lol

These modern day worksaw builders are the worst at adding a high
speed circuit to a wg. They are all different. Feeding from
different orifices, not knowing shit. I never cared what carb I
had. All the same by the time I was done. I still laugh at
trenching a gas carb that still has the small inlet needle,
       ELEMENTARY, at best.
